The PIONEER Olympiad is a national, for the beginning, high school project competition about environmental and social issues. It is founded and organized by HOPE ACADEMY RWANDA. The PIONEER Olympiad 2017 will host local projects from public and international schools in three general disciplines with an environmental and social focus:
- Science: a) Environment b) I Love My City
- Art and Design: a) Photography b) Short film c) Poster Design d) Musical Performance
- Leadership: a) Public Speaking b) Business& Entrepreneurship c) Empowering and Inspiring Girls
From its third year, The PIONEER Olympiad aims to receive international projects from minimum 20 countries. In the following years, the olympiad will recruit participants from 70-80 countries in more subcategories to be added.
